Our Mission

Kids Institute for Development and Advancement (KIDA) is a play-based, blended therapy program for children on the Autism Spectrum. KIDA aims to deliver therapies that will enhance children's social, motor, and verbal abilities in a fun and non-academic environment.

We offer unique, comprehensive programs (the KIDA block), in addition to individually tailored therapies. We seek to address the needs of each child in a safe and stimulating environment that utilizes innovative and sound therapy methods, as well as individualized services.

KIDA Block Program

The KiDA block is a program of play-based therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, or, ASD. The KiDA Block curriculum has been created to address social and play skills with children in small groups. Designed by a speech-language pathologist and occupational therapist, the Block employs an interdisciplinary model that will facilitate children with ASD to learn, develop, and apply social skills and play skills in a group setting amongst their peers.

Adolescent Social Skills Group This summer (July and August of 2008) will be the premiere of our social group for ASD children ages 10-14. Call for more details!

Social Enhancement I: Parent-Infant Play Group for infants age 0-18 months (Enrolling August 2008). Education for Parents, Developmental Skills for Infants. Call for more details!

KIDA is Now a Regional Center Vendor! We are happy to accept Regional Center of Orange County clients for individual Occupational Therapy.
